TRUMP PITCHES A VISION OF SAFETY AND SECURITY TO AMERICAN SUBURBIA
Donald Trump cast a vision of what America could be again during remarks delivered in Grand Rapids, Michigan, on Tuesday, pitching safety, security, and common sense as the bedrock of his prospective 2025 administration.
“This is in all states,” Trump said, speaking about a rapid uptick in violent crime across American cities.
The president’s comments were focused on the negative effects that Joe Biden’s “border bloodbath” have had on American communities across the board, and he particularly narrowed in on the dangerous crime wave that is touching even border-distant Michigan.

He also specifically zeroed in on reports of “organized squads of illegal alien gang members” who have been ransacking Michigan homes in Oakland County. According to the Washington Examiner, the country is one of the wealthiest in the state, but they are being targeted by South American gangs who are ransacking homes for jewelry, cash, and other valuable items.
Trump noted that these illegal criminals are delving “into the rural communities, [and] suburban communities.”
He pointed out that he is set to perform very well among suburban voters, particularly among “suburban housewives” because ultimately, “they want to remain safe!”
“You know, suburban housewives actually like Donald Trump – you know why? Because I’m the one who’s going to keep them safe,” he remarked.
Trump’s no-nonsense border policies like “Remain in Mexico” facilitated the safest border “in history,” he told the crowd, and he had the data displayed on a screen to show it, illustrating the rapid spike in illegal immigration since 2021, when Biden took office.

“If you don’t want illegal alien criminals crawling through your windows and ransacking your drawers, then you must vote for [Trump]!” he declared.
He said, “You had four safe years…and now you’re not safe.”
