TRUMP VOWS TO ‘MAKE NEW YORK GREAT AGAIN

Despite dealing with multiple legal battles in New York, President Trump made it clear that he has not given up on his home state.

In a Truth Social post, Trump blasted Judge Arthur Engoron, calling him a “Rogue Judge who was intimidated by the big, nasty, and ugly mouth of Leticia James,” adding that she is “considered by many to be the WORST Attorney General in the U.S.”

He continued his criticism of James, writing, “She is a Low IQ individual who campaigned for Governor, using my name, and got TROUNCED.”

Trump slammed James “and her PUPPET Engoron, who valued Mar-a-Lago at $18,000,000 when it was worth 50 to 100 times that amount,” writing that they “have destroyed all business prospects for New York State, that is already dying, or dead.”

He then shared a message of hope for all New Yorkers, writing, “But have no fear – When I become the 47th President, we will MAKE NEW YORK GREAT AGAIN!”

As the deadline loomed for Trump to post the $454 million bond and James moved to seize Trump’s assets in New York, his legal team filed an appeal over the amount of the fine.

In a five-page filing, Trump’s attorneys argued that the fine violated the Eighth Amendment of the United States Constitution, which states, “Excessive bail shall not be required, nor excessive fines imposed, nor cruel and unusual punishments inflicted.”

The appeals court ruled in Trump’s favor this week, dropping the bond to $175 million if he pays it within 10 days.
