What Trump has promised to do if he wins the presidency

TRUMP PROMISES TO ‘STRAIGHTEN OUT’ ELECTIONS IF HE WINS THE PRESIDENCY

While speaking to supporters during his watch party of the Iowa caucus results, President Trump promised that he would make election integrity one of his top priorities should he win the presidency later this year.

He first cited a poll that was supposedly asked of caucus goers whether they believed the 2020 presidential election was “fair,” and, according to Trump, 82 percent of respondents believed the race was unfair.

Trump reiterated audience members that he would “straighten out” future elections if elected by implementing voter I.D. and eliminating the controversial mail-in voting.

“We’re gonna try and go to paper ballots as soon as possible,” stated Trump. “Voter I.D., one-day elections—you know we have these elections that last for 62 days, and if you need some more time, take as much time as you want, and so many bad things happen.”

He continued, “We have to get rid of mail-in ballots because once you have mail-in ballots, you have crooked elections.”

Trump won the Iowa caucuses on Monday, and his success by the widest margin ever recorded made history in the race for the Republican Party’s presidential candidate.

51% of people who went to the Iowa caucuses voted for Trump. Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis came in a distant second with only 21.2 % of the vote.

It was investor Vivek Ramaswamy who came in fourth with 7.7 percent, and former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley came in third with 19.1 percent.
