Trump’s Supreme Court Appointments Win Big with Harvard Ruling”Conservatives applauded Trump’s Supreme Court appointments amid the Harvard ruling

When the U.S. Supreme Court (SCOTUS) determined that the racial affirmative action policies at Harvard University and the University of North Carolina are unconstitutional, conservatives of all stripes are praising President Trump.

The equal admissions procedure being implemented at these two institutions, according to CNBC, puts an end to decades of enrolment at both schools based on racial admission.

“This couldn’t have happened without the 3 Justices nominated by President Trump,” MAGA War Room stated on Twitter.

Karoline Leavitt, a spokesperson for MAGA Inc., further responded to the historic decision in an official statement on Thursday:

“President Donald Trump made today’s historic decision to end the racist college admissions process possible because he delivered on his promise to appoint constitutionalist justices. America is a better nation as a result of the historic rulings led by Donald Trump’s three Supreme Court nominees.” 

Roberts wrote in the opinion:

“For the reasons provided above, the Harvard and UNC admissions programs cannot be reconciled with the guarantees of the Equal Protection Clause. Both programs lack sufficiently focused and measurable objectives warranting the use of race, unavoidably employ race in a negative manner, involve racial stereotyping, and lack meaningful end points. We have never permitted admissions programs to work in that way, and we will not do so today.”

He continued, “A benefit to a student who overcame racial discrimination, for example, must be tied to that student’s courage and determination.

Perhaps a benefit to a student whose ethnicity or culture inspired him or her to take on a leadership position or achieve a certain goal must be connected to that student’s special capacity to assist the university. In addition words, the student must be treated based on his or her experiences as an individual—not on the basis of race.”
