Trump’s Plan to Regulate Gender-Affirming Care for Minors: What You Need to Know
Trump lays out detailed plan to protect children from “left-wing gender madness” With a new Agenda47 policy plan published on Friday, President Donald Trump strengthened his commitment to safeguarding American children from left-wing gender ideology and transgender medical practices.
His bullet-point agenda builds on his pledge to combat unscientific transgender procedures and ideologies being aimed at underage children. “The left-wing gender insanity being pushed on our children is an act of child abuse,” he stated previously.
According to the Trump campaign, the following steps will be taken by the president to guarantee that so-called “gender-affirming care” for kids would completely cease:
- “Revoke Joe Biden’s cruel policies on so-called ‘gender-affirming care,’
- Sign a new executive order instructing every federal agency to cease all programs that promote the concept of sex and gender transition,
- Ask Congress to permanently stop federal taxpayer dollars from being used to promote or pay for these procedures,
- Pass a law prohibiting child sexual mutilation in all 50 states.”
In addition, President Trump promised that Medicaid and Medicare funding would be cut off for hospitals or other healthcare organizations that disobey the restriction.

The president will also support a private right of action for victims to sue doctors who have conducted gender-affirming surgery on adolescents in order to hold the healthcare sector accountable.
Under a Trump administration, the Department of Justice would be directed to investigate Big Pharma and their connections to ascertain whether they have covered up “horrific long-term side effects” of sex surgeries and whether they have “illegally marketed hormones and puberty blockers.”
