TRUMP: ‘WE DON’T TAKE PLEA DEALS BECAUSE I DID NOTHING WRONG’

Donald Trump responded to a question from the press on Saturday at the Iowa State Fair in Des Moines. “We don’t take plea deals because I did nothing wrong,” he said, when asked if he would consider taking a plea deal in the ongoing Fulton County investigation in Georgia.

According to RSBN, District Attorney Fani Willis and a grand jury are looking into calls that President Trump made to Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger in 2020 and are requesting that the president be charged with a fourth offense in Georgia.

The Fulton County Sheriff’s Office started installing barricades just outside the front steps in late July as security preparations at the Fulton County Courthouse got underway in anticipation of the impending indictment.

The president would be charged for the fourth time in 2023 if the upcoming Georgia indictment sticks. The president was charged with four offenses in August in a federal courtroom in Washington, D.C., relating to an investigation into the events of January 6, 2021.

On Monday, President Trump commented on the Georgia investigation, writing on Truth Social, “I UNDERSTAND THROUGH ILLEGAL LEAKS TO THE FAKE NEWS MEDIA THAT PHONEY FANI WILLIS, THE D.A. OF FULTON COUNTY, GEORGIA, WANTS DESPERATELY TO INDICT ME ON THE RIDICULOUS GROUNDS OF TAMPERING WITH THE 2020 PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION.”

He added, “NO, I DIDN’T TAMPER WITH THE ELECTION! THOSE WHO RIGGED & STOLE THE ELECTION WERE THE ONES DOING THE TAMPERING, & THEY ARE THE SLIME THAT SHOULD BE PROSECUTED. I MADE A PERFECT PHONE CALL OF PROTEST. WHY WASN’T THIS FAKE CASE BROUGHT 2.5 YEARS AGO? ELECTION INTERFERENCE!”

According to RSBN, President Trump might be charged with racketeering in Fulton County. On Monday, Trump stated that he “DID NOT TAMPER WITH THE ELECTION” and that he would be “HAPPY TO SHOW” the grand jury looking into the matter evidence of election fraud.
