TRUMP SAYS HE’D WIN ‘IN AN ABSOLUTE LANDSLIDE’
Trump touted his strong dominance in the polls in a video posted on Truth Social on Thursday, kicking off the 2024 campaign trail.
Trump said, “The campaign is off to a great start and we’re leading in all the polls — in everyone. Nationally, we’re leading by a huge margin — twenty, thirty points, or more, and nobody else is even close.
That means Republicans and Democrats. In one of the national polls, we had a 35-point lead over the rest of the field, with everyone else far behind. That’s a Republican vote.”
Trump was referring to January primary polls from Premise Data, which conducted a survey of 2,228 Americans last month, according to RSBN. The survey found 59 percent of Republicans favored President Trump as the Republican Party’s 2024 presidential nominee, compared to Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, who received 24 percent of the vote.
Trump led by a wide margin in the latest Morning Consult 2024 GOP primary tracker, putting him at 48 percent to DeSantis’ 31 percent. Among a field of potential candidates, DeSantis and Trump are the only two Republicans to have managed double digits in any poll so far. Trump has also consistently maintained his dominant position.

“I just got back from a great trip to New Hampshire and South Carolina and there was incredible spirit and support — the likes of which I’ve never seen before,” Trump said in his video update.
And it has to do with me, and it has to do with my administration and the great work we’ve done. But maybe, more than anything, it has to do with the horrible thing that happened in our country.
We have never seen anything like this.”

He concluded, “If the election were held today, there is no doubt that we would win in an absolute landslide – and it should be because our country is going to hell, and we are going to bring it back to greatness. For America.”
