TRUMP REACTS TO THE DURHAM REPORT: ‘THE AMERICAN PUBLIC WAS SCAMMED’
President Donald Trump responded to Special Counsel John Durham’s explosive report detailing the Department of Justice’s shortcomings in handling the Trump-Russia connection investigation on Truth Social by asserting that “the American Public was scammed.”
“WOW! Special Counsel John Durham has concluded that the FBI should never have started the Trump-Russia Probe after conducting thorough research. As previously reported by RSBN, Special Counsel John Durham, who has been looking into the now-disproven allegations that President Trump conspired with Russia to win the 2016 election, unveiled a bombshell report on Monday that shows how the FBI and DOJ bungled their investigation.
Durham’s more than 300-page report, obtained by Fox News, stated that the DOJ and the FBI “failed to uphold their mission of strict fidelity to the law” as “senior FBI personnel displayed a serious lack of analytical rigor towards the information that they received, especially information received from politically-affiliated persons and entities.”

Durham went on to say that the material “in part triggered and sustained” Crossfire Hurricane, the FBI’s investigation into Trump’s campaign. Additionally, there was “significant reliance on investigative leads provided or funded (directly or indirectly) by Trump’s political opponents.”
Also, according to Durham’s report, “the government’s handling of certain intelligence that it obtained during the summer of 2016 was also considered as part of its probe,” according to RSBN.
The Hill reports that Durham has been asked to appear the next week by Rep. Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, chairman of the House Judiciary Committee.
