TRUMP PRAISES RUDY GIULIANI AS ‘THE GREATEST MAYOR IN THE HISTORY OF NEW YORK
On Steve Bannon’s “War Room” last week, Rudy Giuliani talked about his most recent book, “Letters to Trump,” and Donald Trump praised the former mayor of New York City.
Prior to his 2016 presidential campaign, Donald Trump discussed New York City and his close relationship with Steve Bannon on the program. Trump referred to his longtime pal Giuliani as “the greatest mayor in the history of New York” before claiming that the current administration is to blame for the state “collapsing.”
“Now it’s collapsing again,” President Trump said referring to New York’s current state. “We had a very powerful police force that wasn’t being utilized.”
After being abused in the Big Apple, “those outstanding policemen and women,” according to the president, “fled to other places like Texas, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Florida.”
According to NBC New York, the Police Benevolent Association, the largest police union in New York City, deviated from its custom of never officially endorsing a presidential candidate and endorsed President Trump for president in 2020.
The 45th president also spoke about his friendship with Xi Jinping, the president of China, and the cost of the Covid-19 pandemic to the US, which Trump calculated to be over $60 trillion, according to RSBN.
“Once Covid came, that was a step too far,” the president stated, revealing that his pleasant relationship with Xi became soured as Covid spread costing “the world millions of lives and about $60 trillion.”
