Trump outlined his policy in a speech in Pickens, South Carolina. TRUMP Say: “Joe Biden’s policy is China First. My policy is very simple: AMERICA FIRST!”
Former President Donald Trump slammed President Joe Biden’s management of the U.S.-China relationship in a speech in South Carolina on Saturday, stating that Biden’s approach is “China First.” Trump compared this to his own “America First” strategy, which he claimed prioritizes American interests.
“Joe Biden’s policy is China First,” Trump said. “My policy is very simple: AMERICA FIRST!”

Biden, according to Trump, has been lenient with China in a variety of areas, including trade, intellectual property theft, and human rights. Biden’s decision to pull the United States out of the Trans-Pacific Partnership trade pact, which Trump said was a significant win for China, was another thing he chastised Biden for doing.
“Biden has surrendered to China on every front,” Trump said. “He has made America weaker and China stronger.”
Biden was urged by Trump to change his mind and take a tougher position on China. He also asked Congress to implement measures that would improve relations between the United States and China.
“We need to stand up to China and demand that they play by the rules,” Trump said. “We need to protect our jobs, our businesses, and our security.”
The audience applauded during Trump’s remarks. It’s unclear, though, how much of an effect it will have on Biden’s China strategy. Although pledging to cooperate with China on matters of shared interest, Biden has also stated that he will not hesitate to adopt a firm position when called for.
