Trump gave Fox News host Tucker Carlson an interview on his recent arraignment and described the scene he experienced.
He spoke about it on Tuesday night and acknowledged, “They were incredible. When I went to the courthouse, which is also a prison, in a sense, they signed me in and I’ll tell you people were crying.”

He added that because of the manner those who work there convict criminals, it was extremely emotional to see the historic indictment of an American president.

Alvin Bragg, the Manhattan District Attorney in charge of the case, is also currently being looked at. Next week, a hearing by the House Judiciary Committee will look at Bragg’s practices and how they relate to the growing crime statistics in New York.
Trump spoke candidly about this controversial arraignment and the kindness of the courthouse workers who witnessed the event firsthand. He said, “They were actually crying. They said ‘I’m sorry.’”
