TRUMP MAKES SURPRISE APPEARANCE IN IOWA: ‘WE’RE GOING TO WIN BIGGER THAN EVER BEFORE’
At a Team Trump volunteer leadership training in Des Moines, Iowa, on Thursday, President Donald Trump stunned eager supporters and activists by speaking to the committed Iowans canvassing for his candidacy in 2024.
He said, garnering cheers, “We’re going to win.” We’re going to triumph more impressively than before.
With the words “We placed our nation back on track like never before,” the president praised the accomplishments of his first term in office.

In a brief discussion of the next election, he noted that “terrible things happened” in the general election and argued for “free, fair, and forceful elections.” He added that we needed to reintroduce religion in the United States. He continued, “A lot of us are being attacked.”
He also criticized Gov. DeSantis’s assertions that, if elected, it would be preferable to have eight years in office than Trump’s remaining four.
Trump joked, “It takes six months to fix it [the country] or LESS.”
He added, “If you have to rely on someone who needs eight years to fix it, then he’s the WRONG guy.”

The president cordially welcomed the volunteers assembled in the gym where the volunteer training session was being held while also praising his “excellent” poll results. I just want to say thank you to everyone here; you’ve been incredibly amazing, he said.
Trump interacted with the audience as well, encouraging them to ask him questions directly from the floor.
Following his visit to the Machine Shed in Iowa, a neighborhood restaurant that hosted the Westside Conservative Club in Des Moines, Trump made a surprise appearance.
