A new poll by Emerson College shows former President Donald Trump leads President Joe Biden in the swing state of Pennsylvania by 9 points, 45% to 36%. The poll also found Trump leads Biden in the swing states of Michigan and Wisconsin by smaller margins.

A recent poll released by Redfield & Wilton Strategies on Sunday shows that former President Trump is not only leading the predicted 2024 general elections in multiple swing states but is even “performing better than he did in 2020.”

“In the first edition of this monthly tracker, conducted on October 7th and 8th (and 9th in the case of Michigan), our Presidential Voting Intention poll finds Donald Trump clearly performing better than he did in 2020,” stated the R&WS research team.

R&WS found that Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Michigan, North Carolina, and Pennsylvania voters were asked to choose between Trump and Biden in a 2024 general election.
Three to five percent, the 45th president leads Biden in four of the six states polled, ties in Michigan, and trails by one point in Pennsylvania.

In the 2020 presidential election, Biden won Arizona, Georgia, Pennsylvania, and Michigan, while Trump won Florida and North Carolina.

R&WS included Independent candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. in a hypothetical poll despite third-party presidential candidates having “failed to achieve significant popular support” since 1996.

Even with Kennedy, Trump led Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Michigan, North Carolina, and Florida and tied Biden in Pennsylvania in the polls.

Some reports say Kennedy’s independent candidacy could hurt Trump in the polls, however R&WS polls say “an independent RFK Jr. candidacy may help Trump by a slight margin.”,
