TRUMP IS BEING CALLED ‘THE NEW NELSON MANDELA’

Although Donald Trump has received both positive and negative criticism, some are now equating him with former South African leader Nelson Mandela since he is the first president in American history to be charged with criminal offenses.

Nelson Mandela was criminally prosecuted for publicly criticizing a biased establishment. He continued to inspire many people all around the world and became a great leader.

Although the circumstances of Trump’s present legal dispute vary, he has been politically investigated numerous times without being found guilty. The analogies are becoming more relevant now that the Manhattan District Attorney appears committed to prosecuting President Trump.

On the day of his arraignment, Florida congressional candidate, Lavern Spicer posted, “Today, Trump becomes the new Nelson Mandela.”

She also tweeted a side-by-side picture of Mandela next to Trump. 

Moreover, in an interview with the Washington Examiner on Tuesday, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., similarly compared President Trump to Nelson Mandela.

“Donald Trump is joining some of the most amazing people in history who are being arrested today,” she said. Nelson Mandela was detained and spent time in jail.

The parallel between Donald Trump and Nelson Mandela will only intensify if he is found guilty.
