Trump Gets Good News About Florida Venue|Trump Wins Big in Classified Docs Trial

Florida was easily won by former President Donald Trump in 2020. Nevertheless, that might be advantageous for him in his federal prosecution for allegedly handling secret documents improperly. According to a recent source, the majority of the jury will be drawn from counties that Trump easily won in the 2016 and 2020 elections, which could be advantageous for him when the trial starts next month.

Aileen Cannon, a federal judge appointed by Trump, is also presiding over the case. The Southern District of Florida’s northernmost federal courthouse in Fort Pierce, where the judge typically sits, has indicated that the trial will be held there.

One swing county and four solid red counties are found in the area, according to a different New York Times investigation. Having said that, Cannon did left the door open for the case to be transferred. When it comes time to choose a jury, Trump will benefit if the case stays in Fort Pierce.

“For years, it’s been a very conservative venue for plaintiffs’ lawyers,” trial lawyer John Morgan told the Times. “It is solid, solid Trump country.”

“Trump won Okeechobee County, a rural county where just more than 16,000 people voted in the 2020 election, with 71.5% of the vote, according to the county’s election tally. He took Highlands County with 66.8% in 2020. That county is a rural area where more than 52,000 people voted. In Martin County, where more than 98,000 people voted, Trump won with 61.8%. In Indian River County, where more than 97,000 voted, the then-president won with 60.2% of the vote,” Newsmax added in its report. “The swing county of St. Lucie County was one in which Trump won narrowly in both 2016 and 2020. He got 50.4% of the vote in 2020 to defeat President Joe Biden.”

Fort Myers is situated along Florida’s Atlantic coast, about 100 miles north of Miami. Cannon has set the trial date for Aug. 14 “or as soon after that as the case may be called.”

After an audio recording of former President Donald Trump discussing what might have been secret information was leaked to CNN, conservative talker and attorney Mark Levin attacked the Biden Justice Department and special counsel Jack Smith.

Last week, Levin used social media to criticize the DOJ and provide free legal counsel to Trump’s legal team.

“There must have been several scores of leaks against Trump involving testimony, documents, audio, etc., and they’re all obviously coming from the government,” Levin wrote on the Gettr platform.

“Trump’s lawyers need to file an immediate motion, with the long list of leaks as an exhibit, asking that the entire case be dismissed because of prosecutorial misconduct and the government’s effort to influence the jury pool. Moreover, I would insist that the court determine whether DOJ has opened investigations into these felonies. THIS NEEDS TO HAPPEN NOW!” he added.

Later, Levin also responded to a tweet that contained a link to a post from CNN host Kaitlin Collins, where the user wrote: “Help me with this: DOJ is prosecuting Trump for sharing information with a reporter when DOJ itself shared the same information with CNN.”

Levin wrote: “Jack Smith must go to prison for this.”

documents that are not public. Trump, who will challenge President Joe Biden in the 2016 presidential race, may spend years in prison if he is found guilty on all counts.

The indictment claims that on at least two separate occasions, Trump exposed a number of individuals who lacked the necessary security clearances to classified information. According to the DOJ, both incidents happened at Trump’s golf club in Bedminster, New Jersey.

CNN reported on June 2 that federal prosecutors had “obtained an audio recording of a summer 2021 meeting in which former President Donald Trump acknowledges he held onto a classified Pentagon document about a potential attack on Iran, multiple sources told CNN, undercutting his argument that he declassified everything.”

  • No one has his said document.
    He was not in Florida.
He can decide its de- classified and take it for the time being.
Precedent says it’s his, even if there was or wasn’t one there.
They didn’t charge him for that recording or any instance there.
There’s no point made. There’s just hyperbole spoken alluding to a plan he would never use.
It points out that a general started the idea,
But colluded with pelosi to smear the president in the media.
We know Trump gets us out of conflicts by negotiation.
He doesnt attack middle eastern countries as they tied to tell the press he may or might.
Democrats look even stupider because of this.
    Get it now?
    They’re liars.
The whole thing comes only to that.
