John Rumpel, a regular contributor to the Republican Party, the NRA, and former President Donald Trump’s causes, said that he lost numerous family members in a private plane crash on Sunday after it had flown past restricted territory.

On Sunday afternoon, military fighters were dispatched after an unresponsive private plane entered restricted territory and crashed, causing a sonic boom to be heard throughout Washington, DC. There are four dead passengers on the aircraft.
According to the Department of Defense, “shortly after 3 p.m., two F-16 fighter jets were dispatched from Joint Base Andrews in Maryland to investigate the aircraft that was not responding to radio messages. The private Cessna entered restricted airspace over and the F-16s were dispatched as a result.

Rumpel told the Post, “We don’t know anything about the crash. We are currently speaking with the FAA. I have to keep the line open.
According to him, “they all just would have gone to sleep and never woke up” if the cabin pressure on the aircraft had been dropped, he told the Times.

Rumpel told the Times, “I don’t think they’ve located the wreckage yet.” Nobody could survive a crash at that pace, as it was descending at 20,000 feet per minute.
According to information from the flight-tracking website Flightradar24, a plane that matched the Citation’s description and flying route made it to Long Island before making a U-turn, according to the Post. “Before the data terminates around Staunton, Va., the jet went right over Washington.”
