TRUMP CLAIMS TOP DOJ PROSECUTOR ALLEGEDLY TRIED TO BRIBE ATTORNEY TO FLIP WITNESS TESTIMONY
On Wednesday night, President Donald Trump used Truth Social to publicly assert that a senior prosecutor at the DOJ allegedly tried to bribe a lawyer to put pressure on their client to “FALSELY ACCUSE & FABRICATE” a story about the president.
In his allegations, Trump claimed:
“SHOCKING! One of the top prosecutors at the Department of Justice reportedly tried to bribe and intimidate a lawyer who represented a person who was being targeted and harassed in order to fabricate a story about President Donald J. Trump and a crime that didn’t take place in order to “GET TRUMP.”

Trump’s statement comes amid allegations that federal prosecutors have told him that he is likely to be arrested soon in the ongoing inquiry into “secret” materials seized during the FBI’s raid of Mar-a-Lago last year, according to rumors that have been circulating.
Notwithstanding the deluge of claims that have appeared in the mainstream media this week, Trump has claimed that he has not been informed that he will be prosecuted.

“THIS CRIMINAL & SALACIOUS ACT FROM INSIDE THE DOJ HAS BROUGHT SHAME & EMBARRASSMENT TO THIS Formerly GREAT & RESPECTED INSTITUTION,” he continued on Truth Social. BECAUSE TO THIS, THE DOJ IS NOW FLAMING WITH EXTREME TURMOIL.
Even though Trump’s legal team apparently submitted evidence suggesting possible witness tampering, the DOJ reportedly declined this week to postpone forthcoming charges in the case, according to Just the News.

The topic of how the DOJ could “could charge me, who did nothing wrong, when no other presidents were charged, when Joe Biden won’t be charged for anything, including the fact that he has 1,850 boxes, much of it classified,” was raised by Trump on Monday.
Trump also posted an unattributed remark on his Truth Social page on Wednesday, stating, “An American Bar Association report in 2022 seemed to concur with Trump’s assertion that ‘rules support his contention that presidents have extensive discretion to formally declassify.'”

Trump has consistently maintained that the records found at his home by the FBI were made public after he left office in 2021.
