The Grand Jury Report On Whether Donald Trump Acted ‘Unlawfully’ After The Election Is Complete–But Will It Be Released To The Public?
A grand jury has concluded a criminal investigation into whether there was a “concerted effort to illegally alter the results of the 2020 election” in Georgia by Donald Trump and his allies. But will we see this report soon?
The Georgia Grand Jury Completed Their Criminal Investigation Into Donald Trump
Fulton County Superior Court Judge Robert McBurney noted in a ruling, “to investigate ‘facts and circumstances directly or indirectly related to a possible attempt to disrupt the lawful administration of the 2020 election in the State of Georgia’ and to prepare a report on whether anyone should be prosecuted.” The grand jury was called in. Possible crimes.”
The Fulton County District Attorney’s Office has disbanded its ruling panel due to submit a report on its findings. “The court thanks the grand jurors for their dedication, professionalism, and significant commitment of time and attention to this important matter,” the judge wrote. It was no small sacrifice to serve.” The ruling did not say whether the report would be made public.
A special purpose grand jury and a general grand jury are completely different. It submits its findings in a report to the district attorney, Fannie Willis for Fulton County, who then decides whether to present the evidence to a grand jury for criminal charges. This special purpose grand jury essentially investigates whether anything illegal was done during the 2020 election.

Last year District Attorney Willis subpoenaed a special grand jury to investigate whether Trump and his allies tried to overturn the election results. The panel had the power to issue subpoenas to compel witnesses and persons involved to testify. Among those questioned were Trump’s lawyer (and former New York City mayor) Rudy Giuliani, Senator Lindsey Graham, and former White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows.
And, Georgia Governor Brian Kemp and Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger also testified. They were pressured by Trump and his allies to change the outcome of the 2020 election. Giuliani could lose his license for his false election claims.
One of the incidents Willis is reviewing is Trump’s Jan. 2, 2021, phone call with Raffensperger. “What I want to do is this,” Trump said on the call. I just want to find 11,780 votes, which is one more than we have. Because we won the state.”
Trump insisted he did nothing wrong on the Raffensperger call and described it as “perfect.” A judge has scheduled a hearing on whether that should happen, but it’s unclear when the grand jury report will be made public. McBurney said the grand jury “has certified that it has voted to recommend the release of its report.” Only time will tell!

Donald Trump Is Losing Donors For The 2024 Presidential Campaign
Despite this special grand jury proceeding, Trump launched his 2024 presidential campaign on November 15, 2022. But now, it seems he is already losing allies. Some of the billionaire megadonors who helped him win in 2016, who aided his failed 2020 campaign, are taking their money elsewhere (perhaps to Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis?). Either way, it looks like the twice-impeached former POTUS will have to look elsewhere for support.
