Maren Morris defends her Playboy photo shoot: 'Country female sexuality in its realest form'

Maren Morris is celebrating the way she shows off "country female sexuality" ahead of her next album release.

The country music star, 31, reflected on her 2019 Playboy photo shoot in the caption of a topless Instagram photo posted Friday, shutting down comments from critics.

Morris posed for the summer 2019 "Gender and Sexuality" issue of Playboy, in which she appeared topless, wearing red pants, cowhide cowboy boots and a cowboy hat.

Her photos were met with some criticism online from commenters who said she would "lose respect" from fans and that there was "no need to expose" herself to the world. She didn't stand for it.

Maren’s savage reply to a hater on social mediaSoon after the singer posted the photo on the social media platform. One person commented, “Please dress appropriate,”

on the post. Maren didn’t hold back and replied instantly. She responded, “RESPECT 4 MOM BOOBZ.”

Following this, the rock star posted a screenshot of the conversation on the Instagram Story.

She also wrote, “I see this kind of comment a lot on country music accounts at me, soooooo GET OVER IT.”
