MOST REPUBLICANS BELIEVE TRUMP HAS THE BEST CHANCE OF BEATING BIDEN IN 2024

According to new research from Morning Consult, the majority of Republicans believe that President Donald Trump has the best chance of defeating Vice President Joseph Biden in the 2024 presidential race.

Republicans said in their most recent poll (May 24-27) that Trump was the best candidate for the position by a large 30-point margin, with the president receiving 55% of the vote over presidential candidate and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (R), who was preferred at 25%.

According to the most recent Polymarket odds analysis, Trump is also the favorite to win the Republican nomination. The 45th president was reported to be favored to win at 69 percent against DeSantis’s 25 percent, demonstrating a massive 44-point difference.

Similarly, Big Village polling data revealed that Trump received 57 percent of support to DeSantis’ 23 percent, making him the favorite candidate among Republicans for the primary nomination the following year. In a head-to-head contest between Trump and DeSantis for the nomination, 63 percent favored Trump while 37 percent favored DeSantis.

Surprisingly, Trump also fared well in a Morning Consult poll asking participants to choose between the 45th president and the governor of Florida when it came to matters like the economy, immigration, and Social Security.

GOP primary voters said that they thought Trump would be better at handling the economy (71%), immigration (70%), public safety (60%), gun control (62%), relations with China (72%), and maintaining Medicare and Social Security when compared to other candidates (60 percent).

Trump was also favored (71%) to handle racial issues and national security (53 percent).

Trump was considered as the contender with the best chance of winning the presidential election (among Republicans) via NBC/YouGov (59 percent preferred), Monmouth (63 percent favored), and YouGov/Economist, according to Interactive Polls’ summary of poll results, which was posted on Twitter (58 percent favored).

In the majority of current GOP surveys, Trump is consistently holding a lead of at least 30 points.
