Michael Cohen, who was once again in the public eye after testifying in the continuing “hush money” case involving adult film actress Stormy Daniels, received a beating from Donald Trump.
“In the history of our Country there cannot have been a more damaged or less credible witness at trial than fully disbarred lawyer and felon, Michael Cohen,” Trump wrote on Truth Social.
Trump kept talking, “The Southern District of New York (SDNY) wrote a scathing assessment of him, including, ‘Michael Cohen is a lawyer who, rather than setting an example of respect for the law, instead chose to break the law, repeatedly over many years & in a variety of ways… Each of his crimes involved deception,’ & deception & lying is what he is doing here!”
Per Reuters, Cohen plead guilty in 2018 to campaign finance violations.
“Remember, Michael Cohen was a lawyer who also represented clients other than me and who conducted commercial dealings for himself, like as buying taxi medallions, etc.,” the 45th president said. I had no involvement with his side companies. Cohen requested a presidential pardon on three separate times for incidents involving these outside interests. I pronounced “NO” right. After that, he started fabricating stories and fabricating occurrences.
Trump’s comments came amid anxious rumors that he may face charges soon in connection with the long-running Stormy Daniels case, according to Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg.
Trump claimed that Bragg “got in EXCESS OF ONE MILLION DOLLARS from Extreme Left Enemy of ‘TRUMP,’ George Soros” in a tweet on Monday.
According to RSBN, George Soros allegedly sponsored the Color of Change PAC, which was used to transfer the $1 million donation to Bragg’s office.
