Donald Trump Say:” Putin Would Have Never Got into Ukraine If I Were President”
Donald Trump emphasized Joe Biden’s inability to cope with rising tensions between Russia and Ukraine.
“Putin would never have gotten into Ukraine if I were president,” Trump said to supporters at a Club 45 event Monday night, adding that if he were president, he would have an agreement in place in 24 hours.
“We had a great friendship. And, by the way, that’s a good thing, not a negative thing,” Trump remarked, referring to his connection with Russian President Vladimir Putin, which was harshly lambasted by Democrats and the media throughout his presidency.

President Trump argued that because “we left [Afghanistan] in shame,” Putin saw Biden’s poor leadership as an opportunity.
As president, Trump also suggested that he would be able to reach an agreement with Russia and Ukraine immediately, a stance he has often expressed.

“I would literally start calling not from the day I took over, but from the night I won, and I would call two people,” President Trump said, adding that he would meet with both Putin and Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and have a deal done in 24 hours.
