DONALD TRUMP REFLECTS ON BUILDING U.S. EMBASSY IN JERUSALEM: ‘WE GOT IT BUILT’

Donald Trump highlighted a crucial 2016 campaign promise that he kept during his first term in office by providing some insight into the process of constructing the American Embassy in Jerusalem while he was president.

“We built the embassy in four months… we not only improved it… but we also GOT IT BUILT,” he declared to a packed house of Republican supporters in Lee County, Florida. “… We had the best location – we had a beautiful, beautiful building.”

When Trump was president, he notably mediated the Abraham Accords, which brought peace to the Middle East, and recognized Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.

He added that the Biden administration “blew it” with the Iran nuclear deal and allowed the hostile country “to get away with all the things that they’re doing.”

Trump discussed the economy, Covid, and his efforts to rebuild the American military in his address. He facetiously added that since he left government, the country had been heading in the direction of anarchy and world war and that it did not need “bullshit” artists.
