DONALD TRUMP IS ‘READY TO RALLY WITH THE GREAT PEOPLE OF IOWA!’

This weekend, Donald Trump will travel to Iowa for his second official 2024 campaign rally. He has promised to address his excited followers in the “First in the Country” state.

“I am heading to Des Moines this Saturday to rally with the Great People of Iowa!” Trump said in an official campaign statement. “Unlike Joe Biden, I protected Iowa’s First-in-the-Nation Caucuses, and always will.”

Trump’s upcoming Saturday rally marks the second time he has visited Iowa in 2023. In March, the president delivered remarks to thousands of Iowans at the Adler Theater in Davenport. RSBN reported that Iowans warmly welcomed Trump onstage with shouts of “USA!”

“Every promise I made to the people of Iowa, I fulfilled as your President, and even beyond my promises, I got Farmers 28 Billion Dollars from China, money that was unthinkable by anyone else,” Trump continued in his statement. “I also saved Ethanol, and did more for Iowa than anyone else in history—and will again!”

Before to the major event on Saturday, President Trump is doing well with Iowa’s Republican voters. According to RSBN, Trump is currently leading a field of six GOP contenders by a significant 30-point margin.

In the race for the White House, Iowa is a crucial battleground state for presidential candidates. The Iowa caucuses are frequently cited as a predictor of a candidate’s chances of being elected president.

According to the  Des Moines Register, President Trump easily won the Republican Iowa Caucuses in February 2020. But even though Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, won the 2016 Iowa caucus, Trump still managed to convincingly capture the Republican Party nomination and hand Democrat Hillary Clinton a humiliating loss in the general election in November.
