ANOTHER FLORIDA LAWMAKER STRONGLY ENDORSES PRESIDENT TRUMP
As he prepares to run for president in 2024, Donald Trump has added another Republican congressman from the Sunshine State to his remarkable roster of backers.
Following Trump’s arraignment in Manhattan this week, Rep. Cory Mills, a Republican from Florida, declared his support for the 45th president in an exclusive statement to TIME Magazine:
“I think that what’s happening in New York is a very unifying event. We need to stop the infighting and come together and unify. And I think right now the person that we need to be unifying behind is President Trump.”

After winning his Florida primary, Rep. Mills received the president’s support in October, according to TIME.
In endorsing President Trump, Mills joins Reps. Byron Donalds, R-Fla., Anna Paulina Luna, and Matt Gaetz, R-Fla.
According to RSBN, Donalds stated he was “proud” to support Trump and added
“2024 isn’t simply an election. It is an inflection point in our nation’s history, and it is an inflection point in world history.”
Although praising Gov. Ron DeSantis, R-Fla., for his leadership, Rep. Mills told TIME that he thought that America needs Trump’s “strong” approach to foreign policy at the moment.

“I think we need someone who will be aggressive on foreign policy—and that’s Trump,” he told the outlet. “You know, this is politics, you’ve got to pick your sides. I think that he’s the person that we need right now for this country.”
Gov. DeSantis has been increasing his national profile by visiting other states and engaging with potential conservative voters, despite the fact that he has not yet declared an official run for the presidency.
Since November 2022, Trump’s support has significantly increased in GOP primary political polling. President Trump’s campaign has gained tremendous momentum since his arraignment. According to RSBN, Trump commanded 58 percent of the GOP support to DeSantis’s 21 percent in a recent Reuters/IPSOS poll, giving him a commanding 37-point advantage.
Rep. Mills is the fourth member of Congress from Florida to support the president, according to the Trump campaign.
