AMERICANS RUSH TO SUPPORT PRESIDENT TRUMP ONLINE IN WAKE OF POSSIBLE INDICTMENT
Trump’s fans responded to reports that he would be detained the next week by posting messages in support of the America First leader on Twitter.
Early on Saturday morning, the hashtag #TrumpIndictment started to trend, and the majority of people voiced their opposition to a two-tiered legal system.
Lawyer Jenna Ellis noted, “The goal isn’t the political fallout. They know he isn’t going to exit the race, nor is he constitutionally required to. The goal to keep him from being able to raise enough money for a serious campaign.”
Others have defended President Trump, and once he used the term “Take our nation back” in response, it started to gain popularity. His use of this language is being criticized by some who oppose the America First agenda, but it is accepted by supporters.
Some are quoting his famous line, “They’re not after me, they’re after you; I’m just in the way.”
Others are noting comparisons between the politicization of the DOJ and communist government regimes.
